Old Site

I have noticed that the old owner of ihatesalliemae.com may have used the site for spamming purposes.  I have seen some comments saying to go to this site and post your horror stories to prevent others from this horrible atrocity.  While Sallie Mae is a huge part of the problem, there are other loan companies that work along the same predatory lines.  I do not condone the spamming actions of the previous owner, but I do agree that young people need to be warned about the lending giant’s actions.

I use the name ihatesalliemae.com because it is easy to remember and attracts those who are emotionally regretting having student loans.  This site does and will continue to use legitimate traffic building techniques to attract prospective student loan borrowers as well as experienced borrowers who have the knowledge to effectively help the prospective students.  What this really means is I am going to strive to bring you information that is actually useful in your life as well as make my best effort to continuously gather and present new information.

The point is, this site must not be a “hate” site in the traditional sense.  This site must be professional, it must have legitimate facts based stories, and it must maintain its credibility.  If it loses any of these three things it will become meaningless to the people we are trying to help.

Please keep this in mind as you comment, e-mail, or communicate the site to others.  Keep it factual, professional, and true.

I don’t have enough information to know if the previous owner of ihatesalliemae.com was in fact using unethical practices to promote his site, but I do know that from the day I purchased this domain and on, this site will be molded into a credible, ethical resource for anyone in need.
